Uploading an AppGyver-built iOS binary to App Store Connect requires Xcode to be installed

There's an outstanding issue where an iOS binary built with the AppGyver Build Service fails to process in App Store Connect if it's uploaded via the Transporter app when Xcode is
not
installed.Installing Xcode resolves the issue and allows the Transporter app to be used normally.

Kristian Gerkman: Hi Kristian, what is the reason this issue is closed? Is it solved? Does it mean that installing Xcode isn't required anymore?
I am asking because in the docs there is still a reference to the issue here (https://docs.appgyver.com/publishing/distributing-your-app).

How do i do this ?

Harri Sarsa: Just to make sure. Does this mean I need a Mac to distribute an iOS app?

Johannes Woehler: We actually never got to the source of this with 100% confidence, so please do try with the Windows / Linux Transporter and tell us your findings!

Harri Sarsa: I now used the free plan of appcircle.io to upload the IPA file to the App Store and it seems like it worked well! (I used openssl before to generate the certificates)
As soon as the "Upload files" and "publish page to Marketplace" is fixed in Appgyver, I can finalize my app and will see whether actual distribution works.

Hi, sorry I am new to developing on IOS. Does this simply mean I have to install xcode 10 on my macbook? Because, I can't since I am running 10.14 and xcode wants 10.15. thanks.
